Hobbes
Hobbes is the OS/2 community file repository, named after the tiger in "Calvin and Hobbes" rather than "Thomas Hobbes".
Long-running OS/2 software archive was run by the New Mexico State University (NMSU) for more than 30 years. On January of 2024 a message was posted in the main page indicating that as of April 15th, 2024 the site will cease to exist.
On January of 2024 Nathan Woodruff recreated from scratch the web functionality and looks of Hobbes and created HobbesArchive.com to replace the one from the NMSU.
The new HobbesArchive does not longer has ftp access. File upload is done with a HTML upload form and all files are available to download from a web browser.
